Pumping Systems
We design and install pumping systems to transfer water either from the source, or from a storage tank, to the place where it is to be used.
For small installations, where an interruption in the supply would not cause serious inconvenience, a system based on the use of a single pump is usually adequate.
In situations where many people, large numbers of livestock, or critical services depend on the supply, it is often desirable to install pumping systems which include one or more spare pumps.
The extra pump (or pumps) can be brought into service automatically to ensure that the supply is not interrupted if a pump fails.
We also design and build the control equipment for single and multiple pump booster sets. Where more than one pump is used we specify alternate start arrangement to spread the load equally between the pumps.
